Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to lead and elevate the organisation’s regulatory program. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining policies, controls, and processes that ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk, address issues, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee the enterprise-wide compliance framework, ensuring alignment with local and global regulatory requirements.
  • Lead risk assessments, control testing, and monitoring activities to identify gaps and implement remediation plans.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory developments, interpret complex rules, and communicate implications to leadership and business units.
  • Develop training programs and awareness campaigns to foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Coordinate with internal audit, legal, and technology teams to ensure robust governance and control ecosystems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CCEP, CRM, or CISM) are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in managing regulatory change programs within financial services, with hands-on experience in risk assessment, policy development, and control design.
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, MiFID II, AML/CFT, GDPR) and associated risk controls.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to operate with a pragmatic, risk-based mindset.
  • Experience partnering with internal audit, legal, technology, and business lines to implement sustainable compliance solutions.
