Job Description:The Senior Fund Accountant will be crucial in overseeing complex fund accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will exhibit keen attention to detail and efficiently manage accounting functions for multiple fund structures while ensuring accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee bookkeeping for a wide array of funds and management companies, ensuring effective communication with clients and intermediaries.
- Handle all accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation and reconciliation of investor reports and statutory financial statements.
- Respond to routine audit queries and conduct periodic bank reconciliations with accompanying documentation.
- Maintain accurate records using eFront and Microsoft Excel for all accounting activities.
- Prepare and reconcile both direct and indirect periodic tax returns.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff within a supportive team environment.
- Part-qualified in a relevant professional qualification (preferably ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level).
- Demonstrated experience in the financial services sector, supported through extensive training initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with financial software.
- Comprehensive in-house training for essential technical competencies, along with support for professional qualification advancement.
