Job Description:

The Senior Fund Administrator role is integral to providing specialized fund administration and corporate services to private equity clients. This position ensures adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks, offering high-quality administration across various functions. The successful candidate will report to the Fund Administration Manager, actively engaging in the comprehensive delivery of fund services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of fund distributions and communications to investors, ensuring compliance with fund agreements and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the Investor Relations team to address investor inquiries and maintain up-to-date databases.
  • Prepare and review payment instructions for various financial transactions accurately.
  • Handle investor correspondence, including the distribution of monthly reports and relevant notices.
  • Assist in evaluating investment proposals to determine conformity with fund acquisition criteria.
  • Collaborate with compliance and operational teams to guarantee adherence to regulatory obligations.
  • Support corporate services by organizing meeting agendas and documentation.
  • Facilitate interactions with internal and external auditors throughout the audit process.
  • Participate in evaluations of existing processes to improve the productivity of the Private Capital Team.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems and operational procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven skills in fund administration and effective organizational methods.
  • Adept at managing time and prioritizing tasks under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Basic comprehension of fund structures and cash flow processes is desirable.
  • A commitment to pursuing ICSA, ACCA, ACA, or a similar qualification.
  • Previous experience in fund administration and familiarity with the private capital sector is advantageous.
